    Oct 23, 2008 · you need to use nlite to integrate SATA drivers into a windows xp installation. if you're using a win xp sp2 disc already, it might be the case that your sata drive is old. i had a similar situation with a laptop. you could of course disable Native SATA mode, but then you'd be SOL for advanced features that SATA enables like native command queueing.
