I belive it is wiser to choose Software RAID -5 rather than Hardware based solutions. Well I appreciate if we can have the software RAID-5 support in Windows XP too!

I would expect that it does the striping just as i set up the drives but i'm such a newb when it comes to RAID it took me 4 hours to get as far as windows setup and installation. so many problems that i did not realize. it sure is installing quite a bit faster than my install on my old PATA drive.
