@Sonyexplorer : You only need a USB OTG cable and a pendrive to test it. Plug in the OTG cable in the charging port of your xperia sp and on the other end of the cable, plug in a pendrive.

Re: XPERIA SP USB OTG support try to plug the OTG cable to a charing point and then try the pen drive . if it doesn't work try cleanng the pen drive connectors and clear the cache on device then try agan to connect . cheers

Jan 24, 2015 · Yes, on Sony Xperia SP otg cables work very well. With my own Sony Xperia SP, I have used 16 gb pendrive, very well. Try adjusting cable properly in the port, it will work.

Xperia E does not support USB OTG. Some models however support the USB-host standard but I tried the Xperia E with a USB-host adapter and I didn't get that to work either.
