Once as a manager, I was supposed to force my staff to sign up; I left the forms on a table and was done with it. Oct 09, 2011 · The higher up, the more money you are expected to contribute, and for those of us in our peak earning years, the amount is VERY painful. Especially when you have your own charities that you like to support directly, and you don't approve of the United Way.
United Way of Greater St. Louis gets that.
