I've enabled mouse support in the options, and have tried running Doom95 under Windows 95 emulation mode, still no luck. I *need* my Doom fix! If you are running Doom 95 under Windows 95, Windows 98, or a compatible OS, you may need this driver file in order to enable mouse functions in the game. Note that some other Windows versions/configurations, such as Windows XP, can suppress Doom 95 mouse functions even if the mouse driver is in place.

Sep 05, 2004 · ZDoom is a stand-alone replacement to Doom.exe or Doom95.exe. After installing the game, drop ZDoom.exe into your Doom folder and run it. You don't need to worry about Doom 95 or it's crappy mouse support any longer.

May 10, 2014 · Hi all, I just got Ultimate DOOM and DOOM II Steam versions today and immediately put together fixes for both of them to disable the mouse y-axis, making them control much more like modern shooters. Doom used a mouse if a mouse driver is loaded by the config.sys file. Doom didn't have mouse-look. But, it did use a mouse for direction and the left mouse button for firing weapons.
