Apr 20, 2016 · All of the NT releases (well, almost all) on the FTP only have the CD itself, but no bootdisks. So to create bootdisks from the CD, I need an MS-DOS bootdisk with CD-ROM support. Up to now I simply used the Windows 98 bootdisk for it because it conveniently provides me with CD-ROM support so I can do whatever I need.

Thanks to all the info provided on your website, I can now boot in DOS with USB support. I then run my GHOST floppy, and choose the correct image from the "USB Hard Drive". Oct 01, 2003 · Instructions for making it were in the Ghost manual on the Norton Systemworks CD. Using it, you could probably boot from it and then go to a DOS prompt and install Windows 98. I got around this problem (installed W98SE) last week by booting with a floppy with CD Rom support. Of course, you need a floppy drive to do that.
