In almost all possible workarounds, you are almost guaranteed that your Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 will be broken in some way, at least on the part on Windows Aero.

Sep 26, 2009 · I can extract the file, but get this message when I try and open it. I get a pop-up box for 16 bit MS-DOS subsystem saying "This system does not support full-screen mode. Select close to terminate this application.". You can also choose to "Ignore" but then it says the program has to close because of problems.

Mar 27, 2011 · When I run 16-bit DOS-based fullscreen programs in Windows 7, it always jump out a dialog, saying, "This systen does not support fullscreen mode. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application". The program will stop whether I choose "Close" or "Ignore". I have a lot of applications programmed by Turbo C 2.0.
