Or just get a PS/2 keyboard, which are still sold. (Just make sure the USB keyboard is a basic keyboard without fancy backlights and/or programmable keyboard. Complex USB keyboards might not work with the adapter. USB driver in DOS is a possibility, in supported systems, but not advisable unless absolutely necessary.

Jul 29, 2012 · You might try enabling low level USB support in the computers bios. Look for something like legacy USB,USB for DOS or USB keyboard and mouse support. Don't know if that will help as DOS just doesn't have USB support. But it's worth a try.

I've got a few PCs connected to a USB KVM switch, which will be connected to the USB port of my main workstation.
