HP seems to think that DOT4 USB printing support is identical to generic USB printing. To put it bluntly the DOT4 port is unacceptable. Since these printers are being used to print reports only once a day and are only used by 1 remote user on 1 machine (the reports are generated by the remote citrix application and printed locally).

The printer will work on the Dot4 port for programs installed on laptop but it will NOTwork to print through Terminal Services, thus the need to install on the Virtual USB port.
