Apr 12, 2010 · Enable Doxygen support for Eclipse CDT. With this, Doxygen tags in comments are highlighted and comments with parameters etc. are generated automatically like in Java. What's still missing is the auto-formatter support for these comments and tag-completion.

It seems Eclipse has Doxygen support somewhat natively now. Go to C/C++ -> Editors -> Documentation Tool Comments: Doxygen. However it appears to only act on /** */ comments for auto generating. In our project we use triple slash /// to generate doxygen comments.
