And also the condition for Password matching is not working...I get a Dialogue message saying passwords doesn't match always;whether the password match or not!!! Unrelated but: don't use the JDBC/ODBC bridge. It has always been buggy and slow and it is no longer available in Java 8. Use a real JDBC driver instead.

Oct 22, 2004 · That's a JDBC 3.0 function, and the JDBC-ODBC bridge only supports JDBC 1.0. I just tried to do this earlier this week, and I got that exception, too. The bridge driver doesn't support that method. The MySQL JDBC driver, however, does. It doesn't mean you can't get the generated key.
