I want to use the Support Ticketing System module to create a 'help desk' for my site. However, I'm not really sure I understand the 'client' system. Drupal, by default, uses the PHP mail function to send email. As the PHP mail function may be blocked, it is better to use SMTP with authentication to send email through authorized servers. Jan 05, 2009 · I am now installing drupal 6 with the hope of being able to get support ticket running with no errors. One of my issues is that there are no videos that show you they way support ticket is supposed to work. So i am making assumptions about what im seeing. Also on 7 i had to install several modules to get support ticket running halfway decent.
