    Feb 04, 2017 · DSiware and pretty much all DS games that came out after 2010 support WPA/WPA2 if you play them on a DSi or 3DS. Don't believe anybody who tells you otherwise. If you were to make a homebrew that would support WPA/WPA2 you'd have to make it able to run in DSi mode.

I used WPA connection on my DSi with Black/White and Black/White 2 games too. It should work for you. Try erasing the settings on your DSi and set them up new.
