Dec 16, 2018 · T-Mobile doesn't sell any dual-SIM phones. Why would they? They don't want to help anyone use any network but theirs. Having said that: Dual SIM phones often support only 2G GSM on the 2nd SIM. Only the 1st SIM is 3G/4G capable. I'm not sure if this is true with the G6 but it's worth looking into. The G6 is listed as having Android 7.0.

Feb 26, 2018 · AFAIK, T-Mobile does not sell dual-SIM phones. It's not really in the interest of any carrier to facilitate your using a local prepaid. In the past, I've run around looking like I have Batman's utility belt with three phones: One job-issued, one roaming, one personal local prepaid.

Jan 19, 2017 · ATT no longer has a 2G network, they shut it down as on 1/1/17. They no longer support the 2G slot on Dual sim phone's or any phone that is 2G only. It is not a dual sim phone problem, the problem is your 2G sim slot. As @GLIMMERMAN76 there are few dual sim phones with 3G minimum on both sim slots. The EU Moto G4 is one.

That's how Dual SIM is working, you set one SIM as your data SIM and adjust if you want to receive 3G or 4G on it, and the other SIM is automatically set to be a voice only SIM which is mainly 2G. You can switch between your 2 SIM at anytime and use any of them as the data SIM without removing them.
