If you want to use dynamic disks, first ask what you expect to accomplish by using dynamic disks that a SAN cannot provide. If you really want to use dynamic disks in a cluster, you must purchase 3rd party software to do so...but I would highly advise against doing so.

GPT disks also don't suffer the same limitations on a SAN as dynamic disks, i.e. you can mount a SAN-based snapshot or clone of a GPT LUN on another Windows host for online backup, or dev/test data purposes.
