Apr 11, 2018 · Click on the Support Tab at the top left of the screen. You should open a Western Digital Website page with “Welcome to WD Support” across the top. Select “WD Element / WD Easystore” on the right end. Then select which WD Easystore you have. The information is then quite thoro. Especially note “WD Discovery Online Users Guide”.

Jan 01, 2019 · The EasyStore drives however are powered by USB ports, they are not plugged in all the time. The most heavily used drive may have been used for 2 weeks straight and then also plugged into create images of my computer. So it is nowhere near being worn out. The other EasyStore was only used for backups. So it may have 100 hours on it.
