Nov 11, 2006 · Your music will still sound the same. They are killing Direct sound support EAX is a extension or directly uses Direct sound. Vista will be using OpenAL, which is a open sourced effects modelling language. Nobody has figured out WHY that is good? ANYBODY can use the language and have their cards using game effects.
