Oct 09, 2019 · EFI does not provide this software. MGI, or dealers that support these older controllers, would/should be able to provide the software. The installation software set you need consists of a System disc and a User Software disc. The Windows XP OS installer is "built-in" to above-mentioned set.

Aug 12, 2018 · Also, I am pretty sure you can boot 32-bit versions of Windows XP on a system with EFI. It is possible to boot from MBR drives on systems with EFI. Technically, you can boot from a MBR disk in EFI mode, knowing that you have a FAT32 partition containing the .EFI boot files.

Jun 05, 2012 · Our customer is asking what EFI plans on doing in 2014 when Microsoft ends support for Windows XP. This customer has a Canon Fiery ImagePASS-U1 RIP (with XPe), and is afraid that his security team will not allow any XP devices on the network after that point. Any thoughts or suggestions? Does EFI have an official position on this?

Jul 16, 2017 · hello everyone ! I am going to install UEFI windows 10 on my 500GB disk and also want to install a windows xp sp3 on my 80GB disk . I know that xp doesn't support GPT & UEFI so i keep that 80GB MBR and fortunately my motherboard has dual boot BIOS so i don't need to change from UEFI to BIOS everytime i run win xp .

Jan 16, 2006 · I'm running XP x86-64 and there is no EFI folder with everything unhidden. I'm not sure if its not there because it doesn't exist in 64 bit x86 Windows XP or if it didn't install because my motherboard and chipset (nForce 4 SLi) use a BIOS and not EFI. Either way it might be a moot point since Core is a 32 bit CPU.
