Apr 30, 2001 · Oracle 9iAS does not support EJB. But iCache can cache EJBs. You must deploy EJB to Oracle 8.1.X database and using OEM tune iCache to cache this bean. This is a good idea to cache it, because Oracle does not support stateless beans :-) All clients has it's own instance of a bean. So, EJB support does not scalable without iCache.

Apr 29, 2004 · If you can't wait for this JHeadstart release, it might be a better option to start with JDeveloper 10g and ADF rather than the current Jheadstart release, as EJB support is very strong in JDeveloper 10g. Once JHeadstart is available you can still start using it, as it is entirely based on the ADF design time and runtime environment.
