This is the beta release of the upcoming 4.0.0 version of Ekiga. It is an important release, which has an overhaul of the main window, reduces startup time in some cases, supports latest ffmpeg/libav for H.263, H.264 and MPEG4 video codecs and fixes many other issues (but no security fix) since the previous unstable release 3.3.2 (released exactly one year before!!)

Does anyone know why the H.263-ffmpeg library doesn't load into ekiga? I am trying to enable it for H.323 so that I can get 4CIF resolutions with OpenMCU. I got the H.264 codec to load into ekiga for H.323 but for some reason they won't negotiate H.264.-Adrien
