Jan 01, 2016 · And controller is hard to grasp for someone who's played on PC their entire life. I grew up with consoles, playing with a range of controllers over the 17 years I spent with them exclusively. Over the past two years I have bought a laptop and learned mouse & keyboard for the Elder Scrolls Online.

Nov 01, 2016 · It needs to be an xinput controller. Did you try setting the game to gamepad mode, then restart the game with your controlled plugged in? I use a ps3 controller (I've made my pc think it's an Xbox controller) and sometimes if I plug the controller in with the game open it won't notice the controller.

Jan 15, 2017 · 1) Unplug your controller and or the wireless dongle. 2) Go into Device Manager and delete every instance of Xbox Gamepad or XINPUT . There will be some hiding in the HID tree as well as other areas. Take your time and only delete game controllers unless you want to break other system drivers. 3) Get the windows 7/8.1 drivers for the controller.
