Ok, I know why. This JIT sharing option should not be available because it is only supported in the unstable version of GNS3 (you can compile Dynamips as stable or unstable, basically unstable includes JIT sharing and some optimizations for OSX).

Enabling JIT sharing this feature technically allows VMs to share JIT blocks, instead of recompiling multiple times in a non-shared way. Enable sparse memory support allows GNS3 to control memory handling hence memory will be utilized as need on each running devices and unused memory will be swapped to hard-disk.

Nov 08, 2015 · First issue was starting GNS3 it would not connect to the GNS3 VM Advanced settings-> expert mode->advanced settings; check box "allow any traffic from/to virtual machines supported by firewall" Second issue, I got my lab built in GNS3 and the VMWare/VM inside of GNS3 could not surf the web unless I turned off the firewall on the host.
