I'm just using the default choice (lr-pcsx-rearmed) for my PSX emulator. My XBox 360 controller seems to be setup as an original Playstation digital controller that only has the D-pad, and not as a DualShock 1 with the two analog sticks.

Plug it in, open ePSXe's control pad config screen, and assign each virtual PSX button to its equivalent on the 360 pad. Bam. That should be it. Assuming you're on Windows, that's all that should need to do. In the case of some older games, setting the controller to Digital might help- but that's all the tweaking that ought to be necessary.

May 08, 2009 · For games like this, you'll have to set your controller as Normal. On a real Playstation, you can switch an analog controller into digital mode with a button, and some other emulators feature cycling between analog and digital by pressing a key (F5 in ePSXe, for instance).

When I try, well, for exemple, I click on the case for the Circle button, then I press on the circle button on the controller, but when I release the button, the case turn blank, like if no button were mapped. It does that to every single button I try to map
