Oct 13, 2012 · In the next version of ePSXe the Guncon (light gun) is emulated using the mouse. It was tested and found to work very well, not 100%, but very well. As for emulators using an actual light gun, I doubt it. The light gun needs to read the TV screen and since a monitor screen is different from a TV screen, the light gun simply can not do it.

Also (and I know this isn't necessarily your fault, because you'd almost have to be a regular here to really know), the reason your search didn't pull up any results is because you didn't set the days high enough. 180 days is not enough to pull up the discussions about it ...

Sep 17, 2014 · I don't know if ePSXe even supports the GunCon, but it would be useless, for the reasons I already mentioned. I think the GunCon ought to work with the PS2 for games that support it, though I've never tried it. There's also the GunCon 2, which is supported by some PS2 games. No, you can't use a GunCon 1 or 2 with a PS3.

Feb 09, 2008 · Lightgun emulation with using the mouse would be very interesting. Therefore a mouse pointer icon / aiming cross must be implemented since there isn't any in the games, as well as a special key for "aiming outside the screen" which is neccesary for reloading im most games.

I know that FCEUltra has an option for the Zapper, but does it require the Zapper (through some kind of an adapter) or can I use a PC USB Light Gun? Otherwise, the WiiMote won't be a usable option as a light gun in PCSX2. I asked The Toid if he would be able to implement the multiple mouse inputs in WiiMouse. I'll await his reply.

Mar 30, 2014 · I have been going nuts trying to get my Ultimarc (Aimtrak) Light Gun to work in Demul 0582. In the Aimtrak configuration utility I set the Trig/Left/Right to GP 1, GP 2, and GP 3 and set to Emulate Mouse. Now I go into Demul and I can set the light gun buttons but when I go to calibrate the gun in Left for Dead 2 the gun trigger pull don't shoot.
