Oct 07, 2009 · CDSDAudioCaptureSupport.kext is part of CD Spin Doctor and allows CD Spin Doctor to capture system audio for processing. A Roxio drone says to expect an update next week at the earliest. In the meantime I just deleted the kernel extension and the problem went away.

Sep 23, 2009 · I received a similar message but for a different file. It seems to be related to old drivers that are no longer compatible (i'm not sure if this only affects Snow Leopard). Try to think of any devices you have ever installed drivers for which would be related to the first 2-4 letters of the filename "CDSD".

I had the same issue. kextd was consistently using around 14% CPU and tailing of /var/log/system.log showed that it was trying and failing to load com.cisco.kext.acsock over and over again.
