May 10, 2018 · This should disable internal LLDP agent on network card so that it will pass LLDP to ESXi. After that LLDP worked as expected and ESXi hosts were able to send/receive LLDP frames. Jul 15, 2011 · In vSphere 5 the new LLDP support is unfortunately for Distributed Switches only, available at Enterprise Plus license level. It would have been a good feature to be able to activate LLDP on standard vSwitches from the old esxcfg-vswitch command as before.
