Feb 25, 2009 · However, as soon as I power the guest up on the new server, it complains that 64 bit is not supported and will not boot. Then I got the idea to run the converter and convert it over to the second server, but during the conversion I get "the destination does not support 64-bit guests."

Nov 26, 2009 · In the log i can see : Destination does not support 64-bit guests. I am able to create a Virtual machine on esx with the template for a Redhat 5 64-bit . I have read all the posts talking about that problem on this forum.

Oct 01, 2010 · 2) Do i need to change ESX server to ESXi that support. It's the same for ESX and ESXi. 3) Do i need to change my ESX server configuration or change VMware workstation. see answer to 1) or do the same job on physical machine without workstation ??? If you need to run the 64-bit system on ESX(i), then this would be the only option.
