Jul 19, 2011 · I downloaded the ISO imageof latest hypervisor yesterday. I am trying to install hypervisor on a brand new machine (AMD phenom X6 1090T + Gigabit Motherbard + 16 GB RAM). It boots up from the hypervisor CD and when i choose to install ESXI, it starts the consolescreen where it shows the display of various modules being loaded.

Not sure if it is possible, can some body help me out. Did any one try hosting on AMD ? is there a way to tweak the VMX file with entries specific to AMD processor. ESXi loads fine but will not allow to start the VM and ESX 3.5 simply crashes before loading the console os.

And I started downloading VMware server while I was waiting for download to compete I have downloaded and started program from vmware site for checking if your cpu is capable of running 64bit virtual machines.Memory: 16GB DDR4 2400MHz 32GB ECC DDR3
