Sep 09, 2010 · connector and used exchange authentication with the 2007 as the source server. It isn't working. When I setup the 2003 member server it let me connect to the organization. How do I do that with the 2007? I setup the 2007 to do everything including be a mailbox server and would eventually like to have the option of moving my mailboxes over to it.

Your server does not support SSL on the default port; Most won't. When you set SSL off, you get the message, "The SMTP server requires a secure connection or the client was not authenticated. The server response was: 5.7.1 Client was not authenticated" That tells you that you are not authenticated.
