One way to fix this is to remove the the QuickTime component from this folder. But I'm hoping there is a better fix as the EyeTV app requires this component to run. Thanks.

EyeTV exports audio in a format that doesn't seem so universal. QT Player can only play the audio track if the "EyeTV MPEG Support.component" is properly installed and non-QT based players won;t be able to play them. Aug 25, 2008 · The recordings in EyeTV play fine, it is just when I export the recording, I have all sorts of quality issues - everything gets pixelated. And on the Apple TV preset, the video quality isn't really anything to smile about, and the audio is just dreadful. I'm currently exporting from MPEG Streamclip with the following settings:

Dec 18, 2018 · All I did was use Spotlight to find all files and folders with EyeTV in their name, ensuring in its options that it would examine both visible and invisible files, including in system folders. That enabled me to identify /Library/QuickTime/EyeTV MPEG Support.component and its associated components and put them all in the Trash.
