Feb 13, 2016 · PPS : if you really want to play it with a controller, you can buy Fable Anniversary, it support controller and is the exact same as lost chapter (+achievements, steam cards, workshop etc), but it doesn't look good, it's almost horrific what they did to the game

Jun 23, 2013 · It's just unbelievable that a game such as Fable hasn't been updated to support controllers on PC. How disappointing. More surprising it doesn't work out of the box with 360 controller support, since it is a 360 port.

Jan 01, 2013 · If Fable was not just ported as I originally thought, and was designed for m+k (HUD and all), controller support not being added wasn't an act of laziness by the devs, but actually a design decision. In which case, no native controller support is fine with me.

Sep 13, 2014 · I have an Xbox 360 controller, works great on Skyrim & Borderlands 2, but Fable will not respond to any input from the controller. Anyone else have this issue & know of a fix? I have reseated the cable, tried a different USB port, rebooted the computer, & verified game cache. Short of reinstalling the game or getting another controller, not sure what to try next.

The wireless PC XBox controller is made to work with the PC version. It has a USB signal receiver similar to a wireless USB mouse.The PC XBox controller also works with a few other PC games. Probably check the Microsoft site for part number and EBay for deals. I started playing Fable III yesterday and it works great!
