    Oct 25, 2007 · Does IntelliJ support facelets? I'm using NB 5.5 atm and there is a third party plugin that provides decent Facelets support that I have been using for Seam development. NB 6.0+ so far doesn't look like it is even on the horizon in addition there is no Groovy support which is something we are really starting to look at. Thanks, S.D.

    We have already 6.1 beta, still no facelets support. No facelts plugin on update center. When you take into account the fact, that probably most of new JSF projects use facelets, this is really big miss from NetBeans. This should get much higher importance for sure.

    I also had to associate xhtml files with the JSP content type in my preferences and add the HTML_DEFAULT partition type to the editorConfiguration extension in the jsf.ui plugin.xml. This is all just hacking, of course, but it gives me a feel for what needs to be done. I will begin some preliminary work on an org.eclipse.jst.jsf.facelets plugin.
