Jul 13, 2017 · The granite slab is about as big as you can do without a seam. It has a 15" overhang for seating and everything I read states anything over 10" needs support. I brought support up to the granite contractor and he said no support needed as he proceeded to sit on the edge of the counter.

Mar 24, 2008 · You can go with a normal Granite up to 7", if you have like Ceaserstone ore Silestone you can go with one inch more but in your 25" overhang you need at least 20" Brackets and your Overhang will not be fully used because more than 15" is useless.
