Fire Support Base Six (FSB 6) was located in the Central Highlands of the Republic of Vietnam in the vicinity of Kontum, near the borders of Cambodia and Laos. It was possible to view both these from Firebase Six even thoughthe jungle looked the same on both sides of the border and it was difficult to distinguish where the border was.
