Fire Support Base Saint Barbara was located at Bau Co, about 5 miles due north of the Black Virgin Mountain (Nui Ba Den) in Tay Ninh Province. The base was served by a helo pad located outside the defensive berm. For three weeks in August 1968 St Barbara was cut off and relied on helo resupply.
