I'm still having a problem with PDF files we generate on our website. We use special custom fonts that are embedded in the document. The generated PDF displays fine in all other viewers except for the Firefox internal PDF.js. In Firefox, the two characters 'g' and 'q' are displayed as spaces and the 'j' appears truncated.

Jun 16, 2006 · I would like to know if current versions of Firefox (1.0.7 - 1.5.0.1) support the CSS descriptor @Font-Face properly. My questions relate to font embedding. I am aware of WEFT, and how it creates .eot files and currently is only displaying embedded fonts properly in IE. For example, look at the bottom of this page in Firefox, then in IE.

Safari 3.1 (and Webkit Nightly builds), Firefox 3.1, and Opera 10 support @font-face embedding for .ttf (TrueType fonts) and .otf (OpenType fonts). Internet Explorer version 5+ supports @font-face embedding for .eot (a proprietary embedded open type format) only.
