Jan 12, 2012 · 'Best' is a relative term depending on demands. Audiosurf supports all the formats listed below although you need iTunes installed for m4a support. As h3x points out, FLAC will give you the best quality to listen to but not necessarily the most fun ride on Audiosurf.

A while ago, I played the game Audiosurf on a friends computer and I remember it to be good fun. The problem is, if I remember correctly, the game only supports the usage of .mp3 files (and maybe .wav). Since I have ripped all my CDs to .flac files and do not want to make .mp3 copies of my collection, I would like to know, is there a way to use .flac files in Audiosurf?

Audiosurf 1 vs 2 I already have the first game, grabbed it for $0.99 a year ago and it's a pretty fun game. Now, whenever the 2nd one is on sale, I want to get it, but people have been saying that it's not that much of an upgrade to the first 1, except for the graphics.
