FRAPS hasn't been updated for a long time and do not support DX12. No bug just lack of development. EDIT: Steam FPS counter works fine for me in DX12. Now that makes more sense. Yeah, now that I think about it, it hasn't been updated in a while and I have not tested it out in any other DX12 environment, so that probably why fraps doesn't work.

I use AIDA64 and I have a 3rd party sidebar app. Well, in AIDA64 you can have the sidebar app show FRAPS. And it shows FPS for both DX11 and DX12. My Fury X was getting ~124fps in DX11, and ~114 ...

May 31, 2014 · I unchecked the option to run FRAPS when Windows starts, and I created a scheduled task to start it (via Task Scheduler) instead.
