May 23, 2015 · Unfortunately my FC-fabric experience is close to zero, so I am not sure what is actually needed here. All FreeNAS LUNs already for purposes of XCOPY have their own 16-byte LUN IDs in NAA format, that, as I understand, in some cases are called WWN.

Sep 05, 2015 · The FC support works really well, i have been playing with it for the last couple of weeks, i did find an interesting issue and it was the same with iSCSI, which is why i started messing about with FC in the first place. I have a couple of ESXi boxes and 2 x freenas datastores point to point connected via FC (qlogic 2564 / 2560 & 2460)

Jan 18, 2018 · I am recalling now that in 11.1 we have disabled FC loop mode support, which we considered never being used any more, since it caused issues for NPIV support. I guess you could hit that. Can you try to set such loader tunables and say whether it help: hint.isp.0.topology="lport" hint.isp.1.topology="lport"

Would it be possible to get native Fiber Channel support within Freenas? Some of the Qlogic cards within the 25xx look to be detect with the 9.3 release but there is still configuration that needs to occur under the hood to complete the FC (Fiber Channel) configuration.
