Feb 22, 2013 · I just installed the new 7.g ftp services and I have been struggling with firewall rules, as I need to configure an external firewall to allow the data ports, however, the Data Channel Port Range box is grayed out, so I cannot configure what ports is should use, and I have no idea what ports may be configured by default.

If the Data Channel Port Range is grayed out, this is because you are trying to change the Data Channel Port Range at a site level in IIS. To change the Data Channel Port Range in IIS, you have to change it at the server level. Click on the server name in IIS and configure it under FTP Firewall Support here.
