Jun 03, 2013 · I am assuming that the cause of this behaviour is the stil-buggy read-write support in fuse-ext2. I found the exact same behaviour if I used the rw+ option instead of force. The workaround I found was to mount the drive, unmount it and remount it; all changes made during the second mount session would then persist.

BTW people, if you want to support fuse-ext2, which is an excellent "product" really, consider donating to the project. Mar 20, 2014 · Enabling EXT Write Support. While OSXFuse adds EXT read support, write support to EXT is disabled by default and probably not recommended to use at all, it’s considered experimental and unsupported by FUSE for a reason.
