I've read that the earliest PIX release that supports WCCP was 7.2(1) but I'm not sure how FWSM 4.0(7) aligns with the PIX versions.The only doc's i can find refrencing WCCP on a 6500 with FWSM is in the 6500 12.2 IOS guide. Feb 19, 2018 · Symptom: - 6500 does not properly learn the MAC address of the FWSM. You can confirm this by issuing the command "show mac-address-table" and searching for the MAC address of the FWSM. It should be learned every vlan on its port channel. (Ex: Po272) Another symptom which can be seen in addition to above is that egress features might stop working.
