Jun 05, 2014 · Looks like using AES-NI was the result of testing the gcc version rather than the gcc version clang claims to be compatible with. (Reducing the c/s speed to about 50% is a pity, but I think, of you build with CC=clang, all components should be built with clang instead of gcc.
