GIMP doesn't yet support layer comps in PSD, because it doesn't yet have this feature itself. Note that GIMP already has a tagging system for various resources (brushes, gradient etc.). Nov 08, 2019 · As you found Gimp does not support cyan-magenta-yellow-black (cmyk) colour space. Gimp is a red-green-blue (RGB) bitmap editor. Apart from that, support for PS .psd files is very limited. As a suggestion, open the image in the free application Krita see: www.krita.org. That also has limited support for PS layers, depends on the .psd image

I know a "general export" Photoshop PSD file => GIMP, preserving all features won't be possible (for example I can imagine that Adjustment layers from Photoshop won't be available in Gimp), but is there an export that would work for this specific case:.
