Or in other words, with a widescreen resolution it seems that you cannot zoom out as much as with the 4/3 resolution. Nevertheless, in my opinion it is more fun to play with full widescreen resolution on a widescreen monitor instead of a 4/3 picture with black sides. Hope that helps...
