It also has read-ahead disabled by default, which is better for apps, which do data streaming from SD card. The SDHC code used is exactly the same as in GPH 4.0.0 firmware, which is my code with some enhancements by DJWillis (Open2x).

It seems this table has been rendered obsolete by the 2.1.x firmware, which seems to support any card which conforms to the original SD standard. At current firmware (2.1.1) GP2X does not support the new SDHC format SD cards, which is what most 4Gb or larger (8gb, 32Gb, etc) cards are.

Dec 20, 2009 · so, i got my first GP2X in the mail today, and it seems to work, except that i cant mount my SD card. i have tried 3 different SD cards, and the GP@X wont even detect it, so far as i can tell. i can select 'SD card" in the file browser, but it shows no folders, in all of the file browsers...

GP2X Wiz firmware 1.2.6 Information ... My 4GB SDHC car worked fine. Except when the load bar was full, it was stuck for a few minutes before it said "Firmware Upgrade Complete!". ... and some kind of support system.
