Sep 19, 2014 · Perhaps your graphics card actually DOESN'T support Shader Model 3.0? I can look into it for you. I'm not sure how Shader Model exactly works, but perhaps your computer is designed for Model 4.0 and 5.0, not 3.0. I checked and it's supposed to but perhaps I'm overlooking something. I do appreciate any assistance though.

Nov 09, 2018 · Hi guys, I'm working on a VR project that uses a custom shader to achieve the effect shown in the attached image. This works perfectly on the Vive and Oculus Rift, however when I do an Android build for the Vive Focus, I am getting a "Shader is not supported on this GPU (none of subshaders/fallbacks are suitable)" warning.

I do not have money to purchase a new graphics card at this time. Is there any way the developers could allow shader 3.0 and up to play. Maybe include a launch option, with command line parameters to work around this. This game is the only one I own that I would have to spend at least $150 or more to get a playable graphics card.
