    Mar 07, 2016 · I was trying to perform some complex tests on PhysX under OS X and noticed that it's not enough fast as it should be. I've checked "PX_SUPPORT_GPU_PHYSX" and it was always "0". It was kind of strange since I think PhysX GPU acceleration should work in OS X by this moment. I decided to set "PX_SUPPORT_GPU_PHYSX" to "1" and see how things will work.

    PPU PhysX works on any hardware since it doesn't require certain hardware. For example all physics based on PPU PhysX libraries in Unreal Engine 3-4 games (Batman Arkham series, Bioshock's, Gears of War etc), some other engines use Havok for example etc.

    Jan 27, 2019 · First of all, GPU PhysX for webplayer is a nobrainer. Webplayer is for something lite and causual, I see no need for GPU PhysX in there. But this doesn't apply to Windows Games. And I am about sure that it should work on Mac OS and Linux too ^^, since I wonder what Unreal and CryTek are doing otherwise. But I might be mistaken.
