Q1 : Can G4D be installed on a NTFS partition ? I have an external USB 3.0 disk with a single NTFS partition on it (it must be NTFS: FACT; FAT32/exFAT is out of question).

Apr 16, 2013 · Since so many bootloaders already have the ability to boot from ext2, vfat, iso9660 etc. I'm saddened by the rumoured demise of the only bootloader that supports NTFS.. I'm not sure what the value of dos4linux is if it loses NTFS support.... So please hear my plea and consider attempting to continue your efforts to support NTFS.. Grub4dos with NTFS support is amazing!

I have an issue with booting NTFS partitions with Grub. I have two HHD 1st HDD with Red Hat 9.0 and Grub as bootloader 2nd HDD with 8 Win partitions all ntfs. I have added the following line in my grub.conf: title Windows2000/Domino 6 root (hd1,0) makeactive chainloader +1 When I try to boot Windows I get: Filesystem type uncknown, partition type 0x7 (0x7 means ntfs) Any ideas?

If the user chooses No then the current settings in RMPrepUSB will be used. Cancel will abort the operation. When the user clicks on Install grub4dos (if instructed), they will not be prompted for the MBR/PBR option as that will already have been chosen for them in the configuration file.
