~Nutz Well, I'm here to learn. That I don't have increase of fps in GTA IV with SLI on, hasn't it got more to do with Rockstar's software than with my hardware? Far Cry 2 with all settings to max, I had 40.3 fps with SLI off and 63.3 with SLI on. And the SLI Visual Indicators went up and down, but never too far.

Jul 03, 2015 · GTA 5 so-called sli "support" (VRAM issue still not fixed) I remember buying this game and was ready for 60 fps maxed-out settings @ 1080p with my 2 980's and i7-4790k, no matter how fast I drove. I remember seeing all the threads/forums/etc. about how GTA 5 was actually going to be a "good" port before the game launched.

What we need is a SLI profile editor which works with the new Forceware 259 drivers so we can literally duplicate the GTA IV profile, but change the .exe name within the profile! John UPDATE I have managed to resolve the flickering in Episodes from Liberty City using nVidia's Advanced SLI Profile editing utility for Forceware 256 based drivers.

May 26, 2013 · GTA IV is supported by SLI; It just only improves FPS by about 10%. It's not on the retail edition. And I've actually checked through every patches change-log and there's no mention of multi-GPU support being added. SLI is supported and enabled for GTA4, just follow the steps I outlined before to see the SLI indicator in game.

Jan 11, 2010 · For sure you could stand to upgrade your GPU for GTA IV, but it really likes Quad Cores too. You may want to consider going more cores. Radeon 5850 should be a bit faster than 8800GTX SLI, but I'm unsure how good SLI scaling would be in that game so I can't say for certain.
